Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior life actuarial role focused on fixed annuity projections and valuation. You'll lead and execute asset adequacy testing, C3 Phase I scenario testing, and model modernization for fixed deferred and payout annuities. This is an individual-contributor FSA role based in Newport Beach, CA with a four-days-per-week hybrid onsite schedule.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead fixed annuity projection and valuation work including A&A testing and C3 Phase I
Drive consolidation of individual and group fixed annuity projection models
Work with Prophet for modelling and Snowflake/SQL for data, with Tableau/Power BI for visualization
Hybrid role — four days per week onsite (Newport Beach, Omaha, or Charlotte)
FSA required with 6+ years of related actuarial experience

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Asset and liability projections
Actuarial valuation and projections for fixed annuities
Statutory reserving and asset adequacy testing

KEY REQUIREMENTS

FSA designation with 6+ years of related actuarial experience
Bachelor's degree required
Experience with asset and liability projections
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
