You will lead forecasting, monthly reserves including ERR and large claim accruals, manage DOS reporting, and provide sales/RFP support. The role requires an ASA or FSA, 5+ years in actuarial or health insurance, and strong SQL/VBA/data warehouse skills. Location: Hartford, CT.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead forecasting across international segments and products (Medical, Rx, Dental)
- Own monthly reserve processes, large claim accruals and ERR adjustments
- Manage DOS reporting and trend analysis for leadership and sales
- Provide benchmarking, RFP support and ad-hoc financial analysis
- Requires ASA or FSA and 5+ years actuarial/health insurance experience

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ASA or FSA credential required
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in actuarial or health insurance roles
- Proficient in SQL, VBA, Excel, MS Access and data warehouse querying
- Proven project management and team leadership experience
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
