You will lead forecasting, monthly reserving (including large claim accruals and ERR), DOS reporting, and sales/RFP analytics. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead forecasting across International segments and products (Medical, Rx, Dental)
- Own monthly reserving processes, large claim accruals, and ERR
- Provide sales support: benchmarking, RFP assistance, ad-hoc financial analysis
- Use SQL, VBA, Excel and MS Access to query data warehouses and prepare reports
- Senior manager role based in Hartford, CT with cross-functional leadership
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Health reserving and monthly reserve processes including large claim accruals
- Forecasting for medical, pharmacy (Rx), and dental products across segments
- DOS reporting and cost-trend analysis by segment/product
- Sales support, benchmarking and RFP financial analysis for group health
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ASA or FSA required
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years actuarial or health insurance experience
- Proficiency in SQL, VBA, Excel, MS Access and data warehouse querying
- Proven project management and team leadership experience
