Closer to a pricing and underwriting-partner role than a reporting-cycle role because its output is used in live negotiations, network strategy, and rate review.

Senior Health actuary role in Texas supporting commercial employer health, Medicare Advantage, and other health network analytics. You’ll develop discount reviews, emerging trend analytics, pricing, and contracting tools for network strategy, with regular cross-functional work across Network, MEU, and actuarial teams. The role requires an ASA, a bachelor’s degree, and 5+ years of actuarial or analytical experience.

  • 5+ years of actuarial and/or analytical experience
  • ASA designation

Strongly preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Programming experience in SQL, SAS, Python, or R
