Senior Health actuarial role with Aetna’s Medicaid Actuarial team in Austin, Texas. You’ll support Medicaid-wide reporting, standardize and automate analyses, build models, and help Medicaid Plans and Finance with new and renewing-business RFPs. The role suits a near-ASA candidate with 2-5 years of experience and strong Excel and SQL skills.
Requirements
Must have
- Bachelor's degree with strong math background and 2-5 years of job related experience
- Expertise in Excel
Strongly preferred
- Demonstrated analytical and computing skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Expertise in SQL or equivalent
- Multiple actuarial exams passed; close to ASA designation
Nice to have
- Experience in model building and optimization
