You will calculate US Statutory, Tax and US GAAP reserves, run sensitivity and assumption testing, and support asset adequacy, audit and regulatory requests. Onsite role in Boston, MA within an actuarial valuation team.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Valuate reinsured fixed annuity blocks and calculate Statutory, Tax and US GAAP reserves
- Perform sensitivity and assumption testing and support asset adequacy analysis
- Maintain and improve SOX controls and support audit and regulatory requests
- Collaborate with Model Development, IT and data teams on modeling and transformation
- Onsite role in Boston, MA; Senior analyst level with 2+ years' life/annuity experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Life and annuity valuation
- US GAAP and Statutory reserving and reporting
- Asset adequacy analysis
- Support for audit and regulatory requests
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of actuarial experience in the life insurance and retirement industry
- Knowledge/background in annuity or life insurance products and valuation
- Experience with US GAAP and Statutory reserving and financial reporting
- Ability to support audit, regulatory requests, and SOX control processes
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
