JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Calculate US Statutory, Tax, and US GAAP reserves for reinsured fixed annuity blocks
- Perform sensitivities and earnings impact analysis for statutory and GAAP balances
- Maintain and improve controls, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
- Support Asset Adequacy Analysis and respond to audit/regulatory requests
- Work with Model Development, IT, and data teams on modeling and transformation
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial experience in life insurance and retirement
- Knowledge of annuity or life insurance products
- US Statutory and US GAAP valuation experience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of actuarial experience in the life insurance and retirement industry
- Knowledge of annuity or life insurance products
- Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employer cannot sponsor visas
