Position Summary
This role supports the Medicaid team, specifically price monitoring and behaviorial health analytics across Aetna's Medicaid states.

Within this role, you will:
• Provide actuarial support for the Aetna Medicaid Behaviorial Health Centers of Excellence.
• Support nationwide monitoring of pricing vs. actual benefit expenses.
• Build analytic tools and dashboards to aid plan actuaries in determining rate adequacy and promoting rate advocacy.

What you will do:
• Perform actuarial functions by applying expanded quantitative skills and analytical methodologies.
• Leverage strong technical skills to recommend solutions.
• Demonstrate an advanced understanding of actuarial concepts and business acumen.
• Set own priorities within pre-established overall deadlines.
• Complete tasks independently with some direction from supervisor.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 2 SOA actuarial exams passed.
• 1+ years of actuarial experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience working with standard Microsoft Office product suite.
• Proficiency in Excel, and some programming experience.
• Demonstrates a high level of personal drive, technical acumen, and communication.
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with others to meet/exceed expectations.

Preferred Qualifications
• Foundational technical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in Medicaid.
• SQL experience.

Education
• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, or related areas.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$64,890.00 - $173,040.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
