JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Convert and develop life actuarial models in AXIS (including DataLink)
  • Support model governance, assumption setting, and actuarial documentation
  • Liaise with Systems and vendors to deliver product specifications and testing
  • Senior role requiring 5+ years life insurance actuarial experience
  • Remote work supported for many US states; role cannot be performed in NYC

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • life insurance actuarial modeling
  • Standard Nonforfeiture Law knowledge
  • policy values and dividend calculations
  • model governance and assumption setting

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 5 years of related actuarial experience
  • At least 6 requirements toward the Society of Actuaries ASA credential
  • Life insurance industry experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics required
  • Strong knowledge of actuarial modeling systems and advanced Excel
