Senior Associate in GMAD Actuarial Valuation supporting quarterly and annual valuation for Life, Disability, and Accident & Health. You will validate data from TPAs, run and troubleshoot actuarial models (Prophet), and prepare statutory and management reports. Hybrid role (3 days/week) based in White Plains or NYC, working closely with senior actuaries, Account Management, Finance, and IT.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support quarterly and annual valuation for Life, Disability, and A&H business
- Validate and reconcile data from third-party administrators
- Run and troubleshoot actuarial models and produce reserve projections
- Work in systems like PRASE and track deployments with JIRA
- Hybrid role – 3 days on site (White Plains, NY or NYC home office)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- life valuation
- disability and A&H valuation
- data validation and reconciliation from TPAs
- valuation system and rate-coding experience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
- 2–5 years actuarial, financial, or analytical experience in insurance
- Experience with valuation systems and rate-coding processes
- Comfort working in structured systems such as JIRA and meeting cyclical deadlines
