HIGHLIGHTS

Senior consultant in actuarial advisory focused on insurance modeling, primarily life and annuity work. You will lead client engagements to develop, validate and optimize actuarial models, support financial and regulatory reporting, and mentor junior staff. Role is US-based (New York and other major offices) with a hybrid client-serving model.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead model development, optimization and validation for insurance clients
  • Support financial and regulatory reporting for life, health and annuity products
  • Work with actuarial platforms (AXIS, Prophet, PathWise, PolySystems etc.)
  • Client-facing consulting role with travel as needed
  • Hybrid work model (expect 40–60% in-office for client-serving roles)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Actuarial modeling platform experience (e.g., GGY AXIS, FIS Prophet, PathWise, PolySystems)
  • Model development and validation experience
  • Project management on actuarial engagements

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics or related field
  • Approximately 3+ years of relevant actuarial or actuarial consulting experience
  • Familiarity with at least one actuarial modeling platform (e.g., AXIS, Prophet, PathWise)
  • Strong written, presentation, analytical and project management skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel to meet client needs
