JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead preparation of monthly/quarterly actuarial reports and profitability analyses
- Determine bulk loss and loss expense reserves and defend carried reserves
- Prepare and document rate filings and submissions to state regulators
- Develop actuarial models and liaise with information systems
- Remote role (U.S.) requiring an FCAS or FSA and 9+ years actuarial experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial reporting and profitability analysis
- Rate filings and regulatory submissions
- Loss reserve determination and methodologies
- Ratemaking and premium level analysis
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 9+ years of actuarial experience
- Fellow of the CAS or the SOA required (FCAS or FSA)
- Experience preparing rate filings and regulatory submissions
- Proven experience determining loss and loss expense reserves
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field required
