Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior investment associate on Prudential's Global Portfolio Management team focused on Japanese-domiciled insurance portfolios in Newark. You will support ALM-driven investment policy, portfolio strategy, hedging, and quantitative reporting, collaborating with local teams, actuarial, finance and risk. Hybrid role reporting to the Head of Japan Operations Portfolio Management.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Support ALM-focused investment policy and portfolio strategy for Japanese-domiciled portfolios
Develop analytics, quantitative reporting, and senior management presentations
Evaluate hedging, foreign currency, and new asset class opportunities
Build complex Excel models and work with Python/R, Power BI, Tableau
Hybrid Newark role reporting to Head of Japan Operations Portfolio Management

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Portfolio management or investment analysis within financial services
Asset-liability management and portfolio construction
Foreign currency and risk-hedging execution
Develop complex data models in Excel
Experience with US and global capital markets

KEY REQUIREMENTS

7+ years of portfolio management or investment analysis experience
BS/BA in a quantitative field or demonstrated proficiency
High technical skills; develop complex Excel models
Experience with Python or R and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)
Understanding of US and global capital markets
