Senior Manager, Actuarial (Health) leading pricing for ACA Individual and Small Group markets based in Tempe, AZ. You’ll manage a team of analysts, own end-to-end rate development and regulatory submissions, and partner with Market P&L and Product on pricing strategy. Hybrid role requiring three days in office per week.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead pricing and rate development for ACA Individual and Small Group markets
- Manage and mentor a team of actuarial analysts
- Oversee end-to-end regulatory rate submissions and actuarial soundness
- Partner with Market P&L, Insurance Product and analytics teams
- Hybrid role in Tempe, AZ – 3 days in office per week (Thursdays required)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Pricing for ACA markets
- Individual and Small Group health pricing
- Regulatory rate filings and submissions
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Associate or Fellow of the SOA, or on-track (ASA/FSA or exam student)
- 7+ years of quantitative analysis experience
- College degree in a STEM field
- Experience owning pricing for health/ACA markets and regulatory filings
