Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior P&C actuarial specialist on the Actuarial Data & Tools team supporting Auto, Property, and Commercial pricing. You will develop and maintain pricing platforms, build data pipelines and validation processes, and contribute to ratemaking methodologies. Role is hybrid based in Madison, WI (minimum 10 days/month in office) and reports to the Director, Actuary.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Develop and maintain pricing platform and data pipelines for Auto, Property, Commercial
Build data parsing scripts and enhance data validation processes using Python and SQL
Contribute to ratemaking methodology and classification model development
Hybrid role – minimum 10 days/month in Madison, WI or Boston, MA office
Ideal for a senior actuarial data specialist pursuing ACAS/FCAS credentials

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Property & casualty pricing and valuation
Pricing dataset development and data validation
Programming with Python and SQL
Use of actuarial and statistical software with database tools
Communicating complex actuarial analysis to business partners

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Advanced knowledge of property & casualty pricing, valuation, and industry trends
Demonstrated programming experience (Python and SQL emphasized)
Experience with actuarial/statistical software and database management
Strong communication of complex actuarial analysis to business partners
In pursuit of Associate or Fellow in the Casualty Actuarial Society
