Senior reinsurance pricing actuary based in Miami. You will own technical pricing standards for Latin America & Caribbean business, develop and calibrate pricing models, drive model modernization, and support reserving and underwriting teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Own technical pricing framework for Latin America & Caribbean reinsurance
  • Develop, maintain and calibrate pricing models and analytics
  • Support quarterly reserving meetings and regulatory filings
  • Collaborate closely with Miami-based underwriters and deliver training
  • Drive model modernization and migration to strategic pricing infrastructure

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Reinsurance pricing in Latin American/Caribbean markets
  • Loss reserving and regulatory filings support
  • Model development, maintenance and calibration
  • Experience partnering with Underwriters

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualified actuary with at least 10 years' relevant industry experience
  • Experience in reinsurance pricing for Latin American/Caribbean markets
  • Strong Excel skills; VBA and SQL experience desirable
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese a plus
  • Eligible to work in the USA (no sponsorship)
