JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead global reserving strategy and process improvements across Odyssey Group
- Perform reserving, capital and solvency reviews of (re)insurance transactions
- Support Annual Statement, Schedule P, Quarter Close and IFRS 17 processes
- Use quantitative risk models and analytics with familiarity in R
- Hybrid role based in Stamford, CT (#LI-Hybrid)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- reinsurance reserving and reserve reviews
- experience with IFRS 17 and Schedule P reporting
- reviewing transactions for capital, solvency and profitability
- 5+ years supervisory experience in actuarial teams
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Fellow of a relevant actuarial society required
- 15 years overall work experience (minimum)
- Minimum 10 years relevant actuarial reserving experience
- At least 5 years supervisory/people management experience
- Familiarity with R for analytics
