JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Structure and price North America financial reinsurance (FINSOL) transactions
  • Build pricing models and analyze risk and profitability of life reinsurance
  • Support deal execution, RFP responses, negotiations and approval memos
  • Client-facing role interacting with L&H risk officers and senior executives
  • Senior individual contributor based in Charlotte, NC (hybrid) with some travel

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Life insurance or reinsurance transaction pricing, valuation or financial reporting
  • Familiarity with NAIC RBC, BSCR or Solvency II capital regimes
  • Proficient in building Excel models for projected balance sheets and income statements

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualified life actuary (FSA, FIA or career ASA) with at least 8 years' experience
  • Strong background in life insurance or reinsurance pricing, valuation, or reporting
  • Familiarity with NAIC RBC, BSCR or Solvency II capital regimes
  • Proficient building Excel models projecting balance sheets and income statements
  • Bachelor's degree
