JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead development of US agricultural and livestock actuarial models
- Perform reinsurance pricing, structuring, and portfolio risk analysis
- Partner with broking teams, clients and reinsurers on deals and analytics
- Use R and Python for model development; strong Excel skills required
- SVP role based in New York with moderate travel
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- US livestock insurance modeling
- Commodity price and options pricing models
- Reinsurance pricing and structuring
- Actuarial model development for agriculture
- Experience working with brokers and reinsurers
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 9+ years of related actuarial or analytical experience
- FCAS or ACAS credential required
- Proficiency in R and/or Python for modelling
- Demonstrated experience building US livestock insurance models
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience
