Closer to a live Programs pricing partner than a reserving cycle role, because underwriting and external program relationships shape the work.

Senior P&C actuarial role supporting North America Programs in Exton, Pennsylvania. You’ll work across pricing, portfolio management, profitability assessment, reporting, and ad-hoc analysis while partnering with underwriting, reserving, capital modelling, and external program partners. The role suits a qualified or near-qualified actuary and reports to the Head of Pricing, Global Programs.

Requirements

Strongly preferred

  • ACAS or near-ACAS qualification level
  • Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
  • Significant experience in Excel
  • General understanding of actuarial pricing on various product lines
  • Understanding of commonly used reserving methodologies, assumption setting and techniques
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work self-directed with minimal supervision and as part of a global team
  • Significant P&C insurance pricing or reserving experience

Nice to have

  • Detail oriented with ability to handle real-world vagaries of Programs business and third party data
  • R programming skills
  • Working experience in Programs space
