Spring 2027 Life actuarial co-op in Boston, with a 4- or 6-month hybrid placement at John Hancock. You may work in pricing, valuation, modeling, risk management, asset-liability management, or experience analytics while completing process-improvement projects and presenting recommendations. The role is designed for students pursuing a bachelor's degree and familiar with the SOA qualification process.

Requirements

Must have

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, or related discipline
Maintaining a strong GPA demonstrating success in relevant coursework
Excellent communication skills, capable with technical and non-technical audiences
Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities with innovative mindset
Highly motivated, results-driven self-starter, able to work under tight deadlines
Familiarity with the Society of Actuaries (SOA) qualification process

Nice to have

Strong working knowledge of Excel
Programming skills
Other actuarial or financial internships
