JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Work across pricing, ratemaking, reserving, product development, and analytics
  • Build predictive models and visualize results to support business decisions
  • Assess rate adequacy and support large-account pricing and regulatory filings
  • Manage interns, mentor team members, and lead work streams and projects
  • Use Python, R, or SQL and Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Actuarial experience in property/homeowners or catastrophe-exposed property
  • Knowledge of underwriting, product, and reinsurance drivers
  • Experience with rate indications and product filings

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or STEM required
  • 2–4 years of experience in an actuarial role
  • Passage of three or more actuarial exams (goal of ACAS/FCAS)
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL
  • Authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship)
