HIGHLIGHTS

Senior P&C pricing role (casualty focus) reporting to the VP, Actuarial. You will design and enhance pricing models, perform account- and portfolio-level analyses, partner with underwriting/finance/claims/reinsurance, and mentor junior analysts. Locations: La Jolla, CA; Edina, MN; or Remote (US).

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Design and enhance actuarial pricing models and rating plans
  • Perform account- and portfolio-level casualty pricing analyses
  • Partner with Underwriting, Finance, Claims, and Reinsurance
  • Mentor junior analysts and support the actuarial student program
  • Locations: La Jolla, CA; Edina, MN; or Remote (US)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • P&C pricing with casualty focus
  • Account- and portfolio-level pricing analyses
  • Working with rating plans and loss experience
  • Partnering with Underwriting, Finance, Claims and Reinsurance

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 5–8 years actuarial pricing experience
  • Strong P&C pricing knowledge, initially focused on casualty
  • Proficiency in SQL; Python, R, or VBA familiarity a plus
  • Minimum of 5 actuarial exams passed
  • Experience presenting analyses to cross-functional stakeholders
