Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze claims and membership data to support actuarial evaluations and rate development for commercial group and individual markets
- Conduct quantitative analyses such as benefit slope modeling and plan impact assessments
- Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to cross-functional business partners
- Develop proficiency with actuarial modeling tools to strengthen and support pricing strategies, drive pricing accuracy and fulfill regulatory obligations
- Streamline and improve tools and processes to support new product initiatives and emerging technologies
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated solutions aligned with strategic goals
- Assist in pricing traditional and innovative product designs, including pilot programs
- Develop proficiency in data systems and technologies
- Respond to business queries and partner with subject matter experts to create reports and training materials
- Gain a deep understanding of pricing models and analyze reporting tools to identify sources of variation

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Passed 2 or more actuarial exams
- 1+ years of actuarial experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Basic proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL, Python, R or SAS
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of health insurance pricing fundamentals
- Proven solid collaboration and team skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
