JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Develop and maintain pricing models for E&S risks using exposure data and loss experience
  • Analyze portfolio profitability across segments (class, geography, broker, product line)
  • Stratify risks based on location, industry, catastrophe exposure, and coverage structure
  • Partner with underwriting, finance, and business leadership to provide actionable insights
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Property and E&S pricing experience
  • Portfolio profitability analysis
  • Exposure analysis and data stratification
  • Partnering with underwriting and finance
  • Working with incomplete or evolving datasets

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years of actuarial/pricing/analytical experience in insurance
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Stats, Finance or related field
  • Experience with data tools (Excel, SQL, Python, R)
  • Ability to work with incomplete datasets and translate findings
  • Strong collaboration skills with underwriting and finance
