Senior manager-level role (remote/hybrid, US) leading a small team and partnering with Data/Technology and Moody’s.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead development and maintenance of Moody’s AXIS annuity models
- Support valuation, forecasting, pricing, cash flow testing and risk management
- Manage a team of 3–4 actuarial associates
- Senior role requiring FSA and ~8+ years actuarial experience
- Remote or hybrid role; can be staffed anywhere in the lower 48 US states
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Variable or Indexed Annuity expertise
- Moody's AXIS actuarial modeling
- Statutory and GAAP valuation and forecasting
- Cash flow testing and risk management
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FSA required
- Typically at least 8 years of actuarial experience
- Experience with Moody’s AXIS actuarial software
- Variable or Indexed Annuity product expertise
- Proficiency in Python and SQL (and Microsoft Office/VBA)
