JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Evaluate M&A and block reinsurance transactions for Nationwide Financials
- Build financial, valuation and ALM models to assess capital and tax impacts
- Prepare executive-ready deal materials and present to senior management
- Work focused on life products (universal life, IUL, VUL) and reinsurance
- Role based in Columbus, OH; remote candidates with critical skills may be considered
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry
- Financial reporting and accounting under US GAAP, US Statutory, US Tax and Bermuda EBS
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FSA designation required
- 6+ years of actuarial experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry
- Advanced knowledge of US GAAP, US Statutory, US Tax and Bermuda EBS accounting
- Advanced Excel/VBA and database application skills
- Must be eligible to work in the US without employer-sponsored authorization
