Role Summary

Role type

Transformation and process build-out

Closer to a transformation-build role than a standard filings cycle role because the mandate is to redesign and scale the operating model, not just deliver recurring filings.

Senior P&C actuarial transformation role, fully remote across the lower 48 U.S. states, focused on centralizing and scaling rate filings across commercial, specialty, and agribusiness portfolios. You will lead actuarial associates, partner with legal, technology, pricing, and regulators, and shape a multi-year operating model. The role generally requires an FCAS and eight or more years of actuarial experience.

Requirements

Must have

  • FCAS or equivalent actuarial designation required for filing signatory responsibilities

Strongly preferred

  • 8 or more years of actuarial experience
  • Deep experience with P&C actuarial work, insurance rate filings, or related regulatory processes
  • Able to connect actuarial judgment, regulatory requirements, data, technology, and business strategy
  • Track record of leading through ambiguity, influencing without authority, and moving complex work from concept to delivery
  • Expert knowledge of actuarial business functions, statistical methods, models, software, and databases
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office products, analytical software, and programming languages
  • Proficient level of organizational agility and conflict management
  • Recognizes how tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, R, automation, and AI can accelerate actuarial work

Nice to have

  • Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, data science or similar
