JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead enterprise balance-sheet modeling for life and annuity products
  • Drive ALM, Asset Adequacy Testing, ORSA, RBC and VNB analyses
  • Provide thought leadership, model governance and validation
  • Mentor the Modeling COE and influence senior stakeholders
  • Onsite role in Addison, TX; senior actuarial modeling position

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • enterprise balance sheet modeling (assets and liabilities)
  • ALM and Asset Adequacy Testing
  • ORSA and Risk Based Capital modeling
  • GAAP and Statutory valuation for life and annuity products

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of actuarial modeling experience
  • 3+ years influencing senior management or critical stakeholders
  • Proven experience modeling assets and liabilities under scenarios
  • Expert knowledge of GAAP and Statutory for life and annuity products
  • Fellow or Associate of the Society of Actuaries (FSA or ASA)
