HIGHLIGHTS

Senior Retirement actuary focused on Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) pricing and ALM for Nationwide. You will lead pricing for large, complex PRT deals, set demographic assumptions, build valuation and projection models, and partner with Investments/ALM and business stakeholders. Role is senior-level, based in Columbus, OH with flexible remote/hybrid options.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead pricing for large, complex pension risk transfer (PRT) deals
Partner with Office of Investments and ALM to set investment strategy
Build and maintain projection, valuation and pricing models using AXIS and Excel
Develop junior associates and provide thought leadership on PRT pricing
Role based in Columbus, OH with on-site/hybrid or remote consideration

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

pension risk transfer pricing
ALM or investments actuarial experience
experience with PRT bids and RFP responses
setting demographic assumptions (mortality, retirement, withdrawals)

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) required
Typically at least 8 years of actuarial experience
Experience as a PRT, ALM, or Investments actuary
Proficiency with AXIS, Excel and VBA; familiarity with Tableau
Position does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization
