Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior health actuarial analyst supporting Strive Health's risk partnerships in Washington, DC. You will audit client data, quantify the impact of imperfect data on risk settlements, and present analyses to internal and external stakeholders. The role focuses on value-based care and CMS-related programs and reports to the Sr. Director, Actuarial. Hybrid-remote role with some onsite and patient-visit requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Audit and validate partner data for risk settlement accuracy
Quantify financial impact of data non-compliance on risk partnerships
Present models and insights to internal and external stakeholders
Hybrid role: work from home with required onsite/clinic/patient visits
Ideal for candidates with healthcare actuarial experience and SQL/Excel skills

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Actuarial services or healthcare economics experience
Experience with value-based care and CMS shared savings programs
Experience in Commercial, Medicaid, or Medicare analysis
Experience applying or reviewing medical claim grouper logic

KEY REQUIREMENTS

2+ years experience in actuarial services, healthcare economics, or related field
Minimum three completed actuarial exams
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field required
Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs
Reliable internet meeting minimum connectivity requirements
