Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior health actuarial analyst on the Modeling & Innovation team supporting health plans and providers across the US. You will build and maintain actuarial models, produce financial projections and assumptions, and drive automation and process improvements. Senior IC role requiring 2+ years in managed care and at least three actuarial exams passed. Remote-friendly with company-wide benefits and bonus eligibility.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Develop and maintain actuarial models and financial projections for health/managed care
Use advanced statistical methods to research and update actuarial assumptions
Support automation and data-engineering efforts to reduce manual work
Collaborate with Clinical, Finance, Analytics, Operations, and Provider teams
Senior individual contributor; requires 3+ actuarial exams passed and 2+ years in health

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Actuarial experience in health or managed care settings
Financial projections impacting pricing and risk assumptions

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, or related field
2+ years of actuarial experience in health or managed care settings
Passed three or more actuarial exams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to communicate complex analyses to technical and non-technical audiences
