Senior P&C Product Rating analyst in Hartford supporting commercial property casualty product rating and rate filings. You will design and implement rate structures, configure rating engines, validate testing, and work with actuarial and business partners. The role requires hands-on experience with Earnix or Ratabase, Python, Excel, and knowledge of commercial P&C products.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Design and implement rate structure changes and build rate pages for manuals
- Support rate filings, business requirements, and regulatory documentation
- Configure and validate rating engines (Earnix Price-It and/or Ratabase)
- Use Python, Excel, and JSON to troubleshoot and automate rating logic
- Senior individual contributor role based in Hartford, CT
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Commercial property casualty insurance products
- Earnix Price-It or Ratabase Product Builder experience
- Python programming
- Advanced Excel formula skills
- JSON data manipulation
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (required)
- 2+ years programming, development, product, or rating experience
- Hands-on experience with Earnix Price-It and/or Ratabase Product Builder
- Proficiency with Python and advanced Excel formula skills
- Solid understanding of commercial property casualty insurance products
