Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior configuration analyst for Health (commercial/group) rating and pricing systems. You'll configure and develop in StepWise, implement rating formulas, build SQL stored procedures, and partner with underwriting and actuarial teams. Remote within the U.S.; senior individual contributor focused on system design and business consulting.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Configure StepWise rating and pricing systems for commercial/group health
Design system workflows and rating formulas with underwriting and actuarial
Develop SQL stored procedures and solve business problems with SQL/Excel
Build user interfaces using HTML/CSS and work with XML where needed
Remote role (U.S.-based), senior individual contributor and SME

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

rating and pricing system configuration (StepWise)
actuarial or underwriting domain experience in health/commercial lines
SQL-based rating systems and stored procedure development
complex Excel/Access models and VBA for rating tools
user interface and workflow design for rating applications

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Math, Economics or related
2+ years Microsoft Excel/Access experience with complex formulas and VBA
2+ years SQL experience and ability to create/maintain stored procedures
Experience in an actuarial and/or underwriting role
Ability to configure and program within rating/pricing systems (StepWise preferred)
