You’ll maintain GGY AXIS/MG‑ALFA models, support quarterly GAAP and statutory closes, and partner with pricing, controllership, and valuation teams. Senior individual contributor, remote within the contiguous US.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead GAAP and statutory valuation for retirement and annuity products
- Maintain and enhance GGY AXIS and MG‑ALFA projection models
- Trace model output to ledger using SQL and Excel/VBA
- Collaborate with pricing, controllership, and reinsurance partners
- Remote role open across the lower 48 U.S. states
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Retirement and annuity product valuation (GAAP/statutory)
- Quarterly close and forecasting experience
- Experience with GGY AXIS or MG‑ALFA actuarial modeling
- Proficiency with SQL and Excel/VBA
- Communicating actuarial results to finance and controllership
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ASA designation required
- 4+ years actuarial experience (typical 4–7 years)
- Experience with GGY AXIS or MG‑ALFA actuarial platforms
- Retirement/annuity valuation (GAAP and/or statutory) experience
- Proficiency with SQL and Excel/VBA
