JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead a team of five actuarial and analytics professionals for Commercial Accounts
- Own rate adequacy, pricing planning, reserve review communications, and portfolio analysis
- Partner with underwriting leadership across Commercial Accounts, Tech & Life Sciences, Public Sector
- Use analytics and data science solutions; programming skills such as SQL and SAS expected
- Senior Director role based in Hartford, CT with enterprise-facing strategic responsibilities
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Commercial accounts or middle market P&C experience
- Property and General Liability portfolio experience
- Rate adequacy and pricing planning
- Reserving and reserve review communications
- Experience leading actuarial teams and projects
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of comprehensive quantitative analysis experience
- Demonstrated ability in actuarial and quantitative analysis
