Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior director-level health actuarial role focused on forecasting, reserving and client actuarial relationships across Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid value-based care programs. You will lead a team, build financial forecasts and pro forma underwriting analyses, and present results to internal and external stakeholders. This hybrid US role reports to the Vice President, Actuarial.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead Actuarial Services for Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid value-based programs
Own financial forecasting, annual budgets, and forecast assumption management
Manage and mentor a team of analysts supporting forecasting and client growth
Underwrite client expansions and present pro forma analyses to clients
Hybrid role – work from home with in-person office, clinic, and patient visits as needed

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Healthcare industry experience
IBNR/claims reserving to total cost of care
Financial forecasting and budgeting
Client actuarial relationship management

KEY REQUIREMENTS

9+ years of actuarial services experience
ASA or FSA designation through the Society of Actuaries
9+ years’ experience in the healthcare industry
5+ years direct experience in IBNR / claims reserving to total cost of care
3+ years leading an actuarial team; advanced Excel and SQL skills
