Senior director-level ALM actuary (Life & Annuities) responsible for asset-liability management, hedging and duration strategies for fixed indexed annuities and IUL products. You will develop asset models for cash-flow testing, support valuation and capital allocation, engage with investment committees, and supervise a small ALM team. Remote-friendly role based in the US (Carmel, IN / remote within US).
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead ALM for life and annuity products, including hedging and duration management
- Develop and maintain asset models for cash-flow testing and reserving assumptions
- Support finance on net investment income allocation and capital management
- Manage a small team (1–2 direct reports) and engage Investment/ALM committees
- Remote-friendly US role; willingness to work Central or Eastern time preferred
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- ALM and hedging/duration management
- Fixed indexed annuity and indexed universal life products
- Asset modelling and cash-flow testing
- Net investment income allocation and capital analyses
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years of relevant actuarial experience
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) required
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Strong ALM proficiency including hedging and duration management
- Experience with actuarial modelling systems (Poly), Excel and VBA
