JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Senior actuarial consultant for employee health benefits and funded plans
- Prepare IBNR, renewal projections, and monthly/quarterly financial reports
- Lead client meetings and serve as regional subject-matter expert
- Mentor and coach student actuaries and less experienced staff
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office competency required
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Healthcare employee benefits actuarial consulting
- Setting IBNR and reserving for health plans
- Renewal projections and cost-sharing analysis
- Familiarity with carrier reporting systems
- Client-facing consulting and mentoring experience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ASA with 10 years' experience or FSA with 8 years' experience in broker/consulting or carrier healthcare
- Bachelor’s degree required (financial/math preferred)
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits funding mechanisms
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office proficiency
- Client-facing consulting and mentoring experience
