  • Perform rate, competitive and county-level strategy analyses
  • Use SQL and advanced Excel (VBA) for data extraction and analysis
  • Actuarial team role in Goochland/Richmond, VA; hybrid with remote considered
  • Requires 5+ years of Property & Casualty insurance analytics experience

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Property & Casualty insurance analytics
  • Statutory and AM Best reporting experience
  • Rate and competitive position analysis using SERFF/InsureQuote
  • Policy and pricing model review experience
  • Reinsurance data calls and support

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years P&C insurance industry experience in analytics
  • Proficiency with SQL for data manipulation and analysis
  • Intermediate Excel skills including VBA, VLOOKUPs and charts
  • Must reside in VA, NC, MD, PA, WV, NY, TN, KY, NH or FL
  • Strong knowledge of insurance KPIs, rating plans and pricing
