HIGHLIGHTS

Senior actuarial manager in health focused on Medicare programs (ACO REACH, MSSP, Medicare Advantage). You’ll lead a team to deliver monthly financial forecasts, budgets, and shared savings projections, value clinical models, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive data-driven decisions. Role is US-based, reporting into Honest Health’s actuarial function.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead actuarial forecasting, budgeting, and shared-savings projections for Medicare programs
Manage a small to mid-sized actuarial team and mentor staff
Support Medicare Advantage bid preparation and value-based care modeling
Perform data analysis using SQL and/or SAS and build forecasting tools
Create executive PowerPoint presentations communicating analytic outcomes

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Medicare Advantage bid preparation
Forecasting and budgeting for Provider Organization partners
Experience with ACO REACH or MSSP programs
Valuing clinical models and value-based care modeling

KEY REQUIREMENTS

6+ years of actuarial experience with increasing scope
Relevant actuarial certification required (ASA or FSA) and AAA membership
2+ years of people management experience
Relevant experience with Medicare Advantage bid preparation
Strong Excel and data skills; SQL and/or SAS experience required
