Staff Health actuary role in Chicago, supporting pricing, reserving, forecasting, and other actuarial work for a health insurer. You’ll maintain and analyze basic models and healthcare data, with a hybrid schedule of three office days and two remote days. ASA, MAAA membership, and at least three years of actuarial experience are required.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics
  • ASA and MAAA designations
  • At least 3 years of actuarial experience
  • Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

Strongly preferred

  • Verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • SQL experience
  • SAS, R, or other programming experience
  • Strong analytical and data modeling skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Experience analyzing large healthcare datasets

Nice to have

  • Pharmacy actuarial experience
  • Health insurance/managed care experience
