JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Own and execute UL/VUL GAAP reserve calculations and analyses
- Automate production and post-production actuarial reporting tools
- Prepare exhibits supporting year-end financial reporting
- Based in Minneapolis, MN (Ameriprise Financial) — full time, exempt
- Requires 5–7 years actuarial experience and ASA exam progression
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Universal life and variable universal life reserving
- GAAP reserve calculations and year-end reporting
- Actuarial model development and automation
- VEE coursework completed
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5–7 years of actuarial experience
- All Introductory ASA exams plus 3 Actuarial/Advanced ASA Exams (ASA exam progression)
- Validation by Educational Experience (VEE) completed
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Stats, Data Science or related
- Strong analytical and communication skills for cross-functional reporting
