HIGHLIGHTS

Staff Actuary (Life) supporting VA/RILA valuation and financial reporting. You will execute valuation and risk analyses to support IFRS 17 and U.S. GAAP (LDTI) reporting, develop assumptions, and partner with finance, ALM and investments. Senior-level role based in Cedar Rapids, IA (hybrid).

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Valuation and risk analysis for variable annuities (VA) and RILA products
Support IFRS 17 and U.S. GAAP (LDTI) financial reporting and results validation
Develop and analyze actuarial assumptions for valuation and reporting
Hybrid role – 3 days in office (Tuesday–Thursday) in Cedar Rapids, IA or Denver, CO
ASA designation required with relevant valuation experience

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Valuation and reporting for variable annuity and RILA products
Assumption development for valuation and financial reporting

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's in actuarial science/maths/stats/economics + 5 years relevant experience (or Master's +3)
