Senior life valuation role supporting IFRS 17 and U.S. GAAP (LDTI) reporting for variable annuity and RILA products. You will perform actuarial and risk analyses, develop assumptions, and support model governance while partnering with finance, ALM, investments and risk. Hybrid role based in Cedar Rapids, IA or Denver, CO (3 days in office).
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Valuation and reporting for variable annuities and RILA under IFRS 17 and LDTI
- Develop and analyze valuation assumptions and assess market and hedging risks
- Prepare reserves and actuarial reporting components for finance and audit
- Hybrid role — 3 days in office (Tue–Thu) in Cedar Rapids, IA or Denver, CO
- ASA designation required with relevant valuation experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Variable annuity and RILA product valuation
- IFRS 17 and U.S. GAAP (LDTI) financial reporting
- Assumption development and model governance
- Assessment of market, interest rate, credit, liquidity, and hedging risks
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree + 5 years relevant experience or Master’s + 3 years
- ASA (or equivalent) professional designation required
- Experience executing valuation/reporting for VA and RILA products
- Practical knowledge of IFRS 17 and U.S. GAAP (LDTI) reporting
- Advanced computer skills and model development experience
