JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Provide actuarial expertise on health policy across federal and state landscapes
- Engage regulators, legislators, industry stakeholders, and volunteers
- Lead and deliver public policy research, work products, and presentations
- Role requires ASA and at least 5 years of actuarial experience
- Based in Washington, DC with ~5% domestic travel
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Health insurance across individual, small group, and employer markets
- Medicare and Medicare Advantage policy experience
- Medicaid policy and program experience
- Stakeholder engagement with regulators and legislators
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- ASA required with at least 5 years of actuarial experience
- Experience with health insurance policy, Medicare, Medicaid, or ACA
- Strong written/verbal communication and public speaking skills
- Project management experience and ability to lead initiatives
- Ability to work with regulators, legislators, and external stakeholders
