Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Senior life/annuity pricing role on Guardian's Annuity Pricing and Structured Solutions team in New York. You will support pricing and new product development for annuities (including RILA and FIA), design and implement equity hedging programs, and build automated tools and in-house systems. The role seeks a recent FSA with strong analytical and programming skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Price annuity products (RILA, FIA) and develop Non‑Guaranteed Elements (renewal rates)
Design, monitor, and improve equity hedging strategies and create trade instructions
Build and maintain automated tools and an in‑house system for segment interim valuation
Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, valuation, finance, hedging, and IT
Based in New York; recent FSA and 5+ years' relevant experience expected

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

equity hedging for RILA and FIA products
annuity pricing and Non‑Guaranteed Element (NGE) setting
economic capital or cash‑flow testing modelling and reporting
designing automated hedging and pricing systems

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Recent FSA designation from the Society of Actuaries
5+ years relevant experience in hedging, pricing, economic capital or CFT
Ability to design and program technical solutions for pricing and hedging
Experience interacting with trading, finance, valuation, and senior leaders
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship
