JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support health plan rate reconciliations and rate proposal reviews for HMO plans
- Assist with research, reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior staff
- Collaborate with carriers and internal stakeholders to resolve rate issues
- Summer full-time Pathways internship in Washington, DC area (May–Aug 2026)
- Opportunity for mentorship and potential non-competitive conversion after internship
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Enrollment in a degree-seeking program in actuarial science, math, statistics, economics, or insurance
- Minimum 12 semester hours of mathematics including differential and integral calculus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program (half-time or more)
- U.S. Citizen or National required (no sponsorship)
- Coursework must include actuarial science/math/statistics/economics/insurance
- Minimum 12 semester hours of mathematics including calculus required
- Available full-time May 18, 2026 through August 14, 2026
