Closer to a structured student programme than a modelling-heavy IC role—the 12-week rotation samples multiple actuarial areas instead of building depth in one.

Summer actuarial internship in Omaha, Nebraska, at a large insurer, with exposure to life, health, and annuity work. Over 12 weeks, interns rotate through projects involving product development, pricing, experience studies, financial results, reserves, and benefits. The role is fully in-office and includes summer housing.

Requirements

Must have

  • No visa sponsorship required now or in the future

Strongly preferred

  • Enrolled in a degree program related to actuarial science, math, statistics, data analytics, economics or other related fields before and after the internship
  • One or more Society of Actuaries exams completed (via UEC or traditional setting)
  • Aptitude for statistical interpretation and working knowledge of actuarial assumptions and formulae
  • Able to work in-office at Omaha, NE office (summer housing provided)
