Closer to a student development programme than a modelling-heavy role because the placement combines team exposure and broad assignments rather than owning one model.

Summer 2027 P&C actuarial internship in Atlanta, Georgia, supporting reserving and pricing for commercial specialty lines including Property, Casualty, Management Liability, Professional Liability, and Binding Authority. You’ll cleanse data, investigate data issues, and contribute to actuarial projects using Excel and SQL, with exposure to the wholesale insurance model. The role is full-time and hybrid, requiring at least three days per week in the Buckhead office.

Requirements

Must have

  • Expected graduation date of Fall 2027 or later
  • Passed at least one actuarial exam
  • Work onsite from Buckhead office a minimum of three days per week

Strongly preferred

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Proficient experience in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for learning – ability to 'be a sponge' and try new things
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
  • Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team

Nice to have

  • Experience with programming languages (SQL, R, VBA, Python), databases, and/or AI tools is a plus
